Paul Crook is arguably one of the most popular and versatile heavy guitarists around. Next to his six-year stint with Anthrax, which took him on countless international tours with stars too numerous to mention, he is the lead guitarist for Sebastian Bach (Skid Row fame). In addition, he has racked up impressive credits as an engineer and producer, including work with P. Diddy and Eddie Kramer. Currently, Paul is writing material with Sebastian for a 2004 release. As if that wasn't enough, he is also in rehearsals with Meat Loaf, preparing for an 18-month mega tour starting June 22nd, after which they begin work on Bat Out of Hell 3. "I love playing my guitar for Meat Loaf," Paul exclaimed, "His music is so dynamic and he gives me so much creative freedom." The
Classic Vitalizer has been a
crucial part of Paul's guitar sound for quite a while now. "This
thing slams," says Paul. "I can't figure out why I don't see
one in every guitar rack out there."
